The performer borrows a watch from any spectator and places it into the folds of a handkerchief. Immediately the watch changes into a small key which is given to the spectator to hold.
The magician now produces and hands a small burlap bag that is tied with a drawstring to the spectator. The spectator opens the bag to find it contains a beautiful wooden box that is locked. The performer points out the key that the watch changed into. The spectator unlocks the box to find it is filled with excelsior, the same shredded filling material that is used to ship fine wines. As he digs into the box he finds his own watch buried deep inside !
It’s also perfect for use as a prediction chest.
