 The performer places a small wooden box on the table in full view. He then asks the spectator to think of and name any card. This is a completely free choice and the spectator can change his mind if he wants.

The magician then removes a deck of cards from a beautiful Victorian Card Box. He states that only one card is missing from the deck leaving the deck with only 51 cards. The spectator then counts the cards face up counting them off one by one and finds that there are indeed only 51 cards and his card is the missing one.
